Well, here's my last page for Project 2011- can't believe it's already been a year. Wow! I have had so much fun doing this and am definitely going to continue with these month-in-review pages. Anyway, for this page I used papers and stickers from Basic Grey's "Jovial" collection. I used American Crafts Thickers for my title. All the stitching was hand-doodled with a Signo pen. Journaling reads:
"dec. 6-9- week of finals! dec. 6- finally finished decorating for christmas! it seems to take longer every year. dec. 11- christmas program @ church. it went well, other than the typical sound issues. and my retro outfit was a huge hit! after the program was over, we all headed over to joshua & nichole’s for dinner. before dinner, we hung out in joshua’s back yard, sitting around a fire. just me & my brothers. it was nice. i have come to treasure these moments as they are few & far between. dec. 12- got my grades back & still have my 4.0. one more semester to go. dec. 14- we had to take benjamin to work, so mama, daddy, & i spent the day in atlanta. originally, we planned to do non-shopping-related activities & then somehow wound up spending our entire day shopping. oops. cumberland, p.f. chang’s for lunch, then lenox (to see how the other side lives). dec. 16- mama’s birthday, which was one big epic fail. so we had a do-over the next night, which went much better. dec. 16- andrea & i had a chick-flick night. ’10 things i hate about you’ & ‘pretty in pink’. you know, classics. dec. 17- finally made it through all 15 seasons of ‘er’. guess now we have to get a life. oh my..........the last couple of weeks of december went by in a blur. last minute shopping, gift-wrapping, & what-not. i felt like we were on the go every day, but i have no idea what we did. didn’t stay on top of my journaling very well. slacker. dec. 21- went to see ‘girl with the dragon tattoo’. finally- been waiting for months. though not as good as the book, it was still pretty great. dec. 24- mama, daddy, benjamin, & i went to the midnight christmas eve service @ st. george’s. it was lovely. & it was nice to see mrs. angie (my former piano teacher). dec. 25- christmas! it was wonderful this year. the 1st time in many years that i haven’t had a clue what i was getting. & my secret santa gift was definitely a hit. dec. 27- we had a crop at our house. only one other person showed, but that’s okay. we still had fun. dec. 31- rang in the new year @ home this year. spending time with my family, playing games. ‘apples to apples’ = very entertaining. then @ midnight the guys did a few fireworks. good times........................................................"
