I am new to scrapbooking. How gorgeous your room is. It's colorful and completely dedicated to your hobby. It must be wonderful to have a dedicated area with everything at your fingertips. I am envious of your room.Something to strive for.
Isn't it fun? The room is painted a different color on each wall - lavender, hot pink, cobalt blue, and yellow. I had one wall painted orange (rather than cobalt) in the beginning, but I found that I keep the door open most of the time, and looking in to the orange wall from my adobe colored living room just clashed. So we picked another color and got started changing it. All the colors are represented in the knobs. Fun!
Thank you Christy and Kashlo. I will tell my hubby that you and so many other love the multi-colored knobs! And thanks for your compliment about color and organization. I do enjoy my space, so itg doesn't usually look quite so neat.
Thanks so much ladies. It's been so wonderful finally using my dedicated scrapbook studio. Unfortunately, my biggest and furriest cat has taken up residence in front of the windows. He'll stretch out completely, covering up much of my workspace in front of the windows. Sigh. I've been working on a few greeting cards so at least I can contain all of that in a 12 x 12 envelope when I'm not working on it so his tail doesn't move everything while I'm not watching!
My husband who put in all those colored knobs is just delighted to read your comments. It was his idea since he went to buy the knobs, and he installed them, so I read him your comments on his good work!
The space has been working out phenomenally. So many supplies are just a drawer away and completely reachable on my chair on wheels. I keep thinking I "should" have a carry-all sort of basket with all my favorite tools and supplies at the front of the room, but I already have everything I need a drawer away. Why clutter my clear space with anything more? So I think I'll leave it clear and continue to enjoy my studio! Sandie
This is GORGEOUS! I love the colored knobs... They pull out all the pretty, bright colors tucked away in this incredibly organized and beautiful space!!!
Many thanks for your compliments ladies. I did try very hard to get everything organized as I moved into my new space. I've moved things a little since then, but not much!
Thanks Robin! I do find myself stumped sometimes because there is so much to chhoose from. I don't have a lot of any one thing, but I do have a lot of different ones! Good thing, tho, since I'm making a pack of cards for a friends for all sorts of occasions.
Thank you ladies for your very kind words. I do love all the colors too; they're meant to inspire me as I hum along. And Maggie, you weren't supposed to notice the litter pan! It's actually completely tucked under the cabinets, but I guess more visible than I realized! So now you know who I scrapbook about a lot ...
I love you space, It is so cute, organized and neat. I love your little colorful knobs , There is a place for everything and everything is in its place. Good for you, Your Hubby is a great guy for contributing to your Hobby.
Wow, thank you everyone! I am having a blast in my scrap room, or my "studio" as I call it since it's much more than a room where scrapbooking takes place. All the colors are still here. All the organizational holders and such. I've added a Cricut Expression which I am just learning how to use. I'm sure this will make my scrapping and card making so much more fun! That is what this is all about. FUN! Oh, and Scrappedupmom, I'm sorry, but the countertop was part of the whole room package. I would imagine you could almost price it yourself by figuring how big you countertop will be, price the lumber, and then the laminate or whatever you will use on top. The sky's the limit. Scrapping3, although I can tell from your photo that you might have experience wiping up drool, I'd prefer you at least miss the paper bin, OK? Then we can scrap. All of us! I just think I need to label the drawers with their contents somehow. Label tape isn't going to do it.
Thanks ladies, for all your lovely comments. I have to say, Kyla, that it was my dh that was the driving force behind this room. I may have designed it, but he worked with the cabinetmaker, and he paid for it! I'm sorry but I don't take competitor's coupons. I don't take coupons at all. :) But I do have discounts for people over 50.
How long has your store been open and where are you located ,store hours? do you have dicounts for seniors and do you take other compeditors coupons!!!You are my IDOL!!!! now let me go kick my dh!..lol
Hi Sandie, I am impressed all over again, and amazed at the bounty of glorious supplies you have at your disposal! And all of them so perfectly and appropriately stored away! OH MY! Be still my heart! : D!!! Enjoy your special haven of escape!

I've finally finished organizing that big pile of supplies I showed earlier. There is so much stuff here it's hard to list. Imagine a drawer for each type of embellishment such as brads, eyelets, tags. Add some more drawers for tools such as paper trimmers, rulers, stencils, templates, QuicKutz, rubber stamps, foam stamps, clear stamps, ink pads, chalk, embossing powder, punches in every size and shape, chipboard, adhesives of all sorts, and on and on. The counter holds bins full of chipboard and cardstock letters, each with their own drawer, plus other shapes and punctuation. The binders hold my reference library collected from scrapbook magazines from the past 5 years. Above that cabinets hold more embellishments. Ribbon in pull out Cropper Hopper drawers. Accordian type divided holders for stickers and die cuts, ArtBin clear acrylic boxes for pens, QuicKutz binders of dies. Behind closed doors on one side are photos. On the other are blank albums, waiting to be filled. I even have my Prima flowers on top of those bins of drawers along with my acrylic paints.
