Journaling reads: This is me and Jerry when we were dating. I think the left-hand photo was taken at his mothers home. The right-hand photo is one my mother took of us at a family reunion in Florida on May 14, 1977. Mama always had a hard time with not cutting off peoples heads LOL! I went ahead and used this photo because I was wearing my favorite shoes from that time and Jerry was wearing his trumpeter sweater which I loved on him. You gotta dig those styles from the 70s.

I really pulled from my old stash for this page, but I'm pleased with how it turned out. The heart border was cut with dies and then inked and some of them pop-dotted. I used a lot of wood embellies here. The title was cut by hand from Tim Holtz Grungeboard Basic Swirls, then I did some heavy inking on it. The scallop border on the large heart was made using decorative scallop scissors. The pps are from Pink Paislee Prairie Hill collection. Lastly, I added the strip of "jute" rick rack across the bottom. Thanks so much for stopping by :)
