Journaling reads: After our wedding, Jerry and I stopped by his Granddaddy Buchanans house. He and Grandma Annie werent able to attend our wedding because of their health, but they wanted to see us all dressed up. From there, we went on to our little apartment and Jerry managed to carry me over the threshold. A little bit later my family and Jerrys family came over to visit us and we shared in some of the leftover wedding food and cake and visited with them for a while. The next morning, we went to Mama and Daddys for breakfast with my family and then headed off on our honeymoon in Helen. Im glad we broke with tradition and took time to visit with everyone. December 3, 1977

I made the "iron" porch post on left using Tim Holtz Alterations Spring Greenery die for the ivy. The door was fussy cut and popped up. The pps are from Mintay Places We Go and P13 Till We Meet Again. The title was done with old stickers. The lacy corner was made using an old rub on. The porch light was fussy cut from a Kate Curry book. The flowers and letter box were fussy cut from pps. The edges of the photos are sanded. Thanks so much for stopping by :)
